We saw so many Silvery Blues yesterday I wanted to take another look today.
I was there from 09:30 to noon, the conditions were fine: sunny, low-70s, and calm. I saw:
20+ Silvery Blue 20+ Sulphur 3 Common Ringlet 6 Pearl Crescent 1 Gray Hairstreak 1 Black Swallowtail (flyby--possibly a Spicebush Swallowtail) 3 Common Wood Nymph
I got to Horn Pond Mountain at 01:00, and conditions were also fine: low- to mid-70s, sunny and mostly calm with intermittent breezes. I saw:
5 Cabbage White 2 American Copper 15 Duskywing (both Juvenal's and Wild Indigo) 1 Tiger Swallowtail (sp., another flyby) 1 Eastern Tailed-blue
I did not see any Juniper's Hairstreaks, and one of the duskywings had a very different look; posting to iNat <https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/362935681>. The Wild Indigo <https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/362937150>was tiny; it was interacting with an Eastern Tailed-blue, and they were almost the same size.
