The population appears to have been stable the past 17 years.=20

Example: this report=20
http://monarchalert.calpoly.edu/pdf/Monarch-Alert-Report-2008.pdf <http://m=
onarchalert.calpoly.edu/pdf/Monarch-Alert-Report-2008.pdf>
describes the monitoring and counting of the following Monterey County=20
fall-winter cluster sites http://imageshack.com/a/img923/2677/hLPdZn.jpg <h=
ttp://imageshack.com/a/img923/2677/hLPdZn.jpg>=20
between 2001-2008. In the report, the authors showed this peak=20
overwintering population count graph:
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img923/7534/yQp2SQ.jpg <http://imagizer.ima=
geshack.us/a/img923/7534/yQp2SQ.jpg>

Now when I added 2014-2016 Thanksgiving count data for those
same Monterey county cluster sites I got this result (red dot and lines):=20
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img923/410/jRcm42.jpg <http://imagizer.imag=
eshack.us/a/img923/410/jRcm42.jpg>

So one could reasonably conclude that for the past 17 years the=20
size of the overwintering populations in Monterey county have=20
been stable.=20
