I have corrected and edited the text for the Mimic -- per Salman's comments=
and per information contained in Wikipedia, also adding text for the 2017 =
record. You will see the two photos taken by Mark Shields on the species pa=
ge.=0D
=0D
What you won't see is the 2017 record showing up on the map or the flight c=
harts -- yet. Remember that Tom Howard and I add ALL of the records for a g=
iven year only after the end of that year. Thus, it likely will be February=
2018 before you see Onslow County showing up in green color and the PDF sh=
owing a black dot in the county and a bar on the flight chart.=0D

The photo is of a beautifully fresh individual, not one that=E2=80=99s been=

earlier, with its foodplant.=0D

The female is a mimic (and a remarkably good one) of Danaus chrysippus (Pla=
in Tiger), rather than of the Monarch or Viceroy which are not found in its=
native range. The text in the 24th approximation should be corrected to re=
flect this.=0D
