Subject: Some recent Buncombe sightings

A visit to the Biltmore estate this past Sunday (5th November), started =
off misty/cloudy, but by the time we left at noon, butterflies were =
becoming quite numerous around the few remaining nectar sources (some =
red clover patches and some more formal Abelia bushes).=20
I have also included some sightings from the past week

Clouded sulphur - 1
Orange sulphur - 8
Painted lady - 4
C buckeye - 2
Monarch - 4
Long tailed skipper - 1
Fiery skipper - 2


North buncombe - 28th October

Cloudless sulphur - 3
Gulf fritillary - 1
painted lady - 3
Clouded skipper=20


North Buncombe - 3rd Nov

Cloudless sulphur - 1
Painted lady - 2
Monarch - 2
