I had a pleasant but very breezy afternoon drive on 6/21 with several =
stops along the Blue Ridge Parkway from 21- Sparta/Roaring Gap to 421. =
Mid-day temperature at Doughton Park was mid-60=E2=80=99s with part sun =
and clouds and gusty winds. I could have managed my time better but did =
not find much butterfly diversity. At my last stop under full sun at =
the Jeffress Park meadow a large patch of Butterfly Weed was attracting =
very little interest.
