Friday, Aug 2, I visited 2 sites in Falmouth. Crane South is the portion
of Crane WMA that is south of Rte. 151 off Hayway Rd. Crane West is the
western half of the main field north of Rte. 151. Crane is a big place.
Here are the results:

Crane West:

2 Black Swallowtail
1 Cabbage White
5 Orange Sulphur
3 American Copper
4 Gray Hairstreak
1 Eastern-tailed Blue
60+ Pearl Crescent
13 American Lady (most very fresh. American Lady have good reproductive
success at this site)
7 Common Buckeye
1 Viceroy
13 Common Ringlet
7 Common Wood Nymph
18 Monarch
9 Wild Indigo Duskywing
2 Least Skipper
2 Northern Broken Dash

Crane South:

1 Black Swallowtail
1 Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
1 Orange Sulphur
10 Eastern-tailed Blue
6 Pearl Crescent
2 Viceroy
2 Common Ringlet
6 Common Wood Nymph
32 Monarch
1 Silver-spotted Skipper
18 Least Skipper
3 Northern Broken Dash
