About 20 minutes west of Stone Mountain on some wonderfully remote winding country roads, the last mile and half is a gravel steep but passable road, once you hit the park gate it's paved again. Bathroom, picnic areas, interpretive buildings and displays, and some very steep trails! Now open daily 9-5 and 9-7 and Sat/Sunday. Best butterfly habitat is at the farthest parking area overlook, up around the firetower and then the gravel road heading NW along the ridge, this is currently the yellow blazed loop from the opposite direction. Entered into NRID, everything was new for the park haha! So please visit and add more!
