I went to Folly Beach today from ~ 12 - 2 PM to scout the Heritage = Preserve for Yucca Giant Skippers, in the location where we=E2=80=99ve = seen them for the last 2 years. It was sunny, 74 degrees and breezy. = Alas, there were no adults flying, but I did see multiple plants with = eggs, including some that were a robin egg blue so presumably very = fresh. I=E2=80=99ll get an earlier start this week and see if I have = better luck. Butterflies seen were: Palamedes ST, 1 Cloudless Sulpher, 1 Common Buckeye, Monarch, 2 Alison Smith Charleston= |
