Carolina Butterfly Society Midlands Chapter Trip ReportSumter National Fore= st Enoree District4/19/25=C2=A0 =C2=A010:20-5:30=C2=A0 =C2=A0Sunny=C2=A0 = =C2=A072-86 degrees On FSR 334 in Laurens County there was significant tree damage along the ro= adsides and across the trail, most likely due to Helene. Other areas, espec= ially in Newberry County, were very dry with little nectar. Nectar sources = found during the day were butterweed, blackberry, lyre-leaf sage and thistl= es. Last year around this time we found many Hoary Edge, but did not see an= y on this outing.
