Today 11 participants met for the Massachusetts Butterfly Club tip to Myles Standish. Weather was in the 60s and 70s and sunny. At the headquarters we saw: Spring Azure 8 Juvenal's Duskywing 2 American Lady 1 At Fearing Hill Pond Road: Spring Azure 25 Eastern Pine Elfin 1 Brown Elfin 5 Hoary Elfin 1 American Lady 1 Bare Hill Road gasline: Spring Azure 21 Eastern Pine Elfin 3 Brown Elfin 6 Hoary Elfin 3 Gray Hairstreak 1 American Lady 1 Baxter Loop: Spring Azure 12 American Lady 3 Eastern Tailed-Blue 1 Birds seen and heard include Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Eastern Phoebe, Pine Warbler, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Black-and-white Warbler, Eastern Towhee.
