Carolina Butterfly Society Midlands Chapter Trip ReportCarolina Sandhills N= WR, Chesterfield County=C2=A0 =C2=A05/31/25=C2=A0 =C2=A010:15-4:45=C2=A0 = =C2=A0Mostly sunny=C2=A0 =C2=A066-81 degrees Nectar sources were dogbane and butterfly weed. The patch of butterfly weed= where we had seen the Coral Hairstreak in past years had been herbicided a= nd then burned last year, but the butterfly weed came back and so did the C= oral Hairstreaks. One Coral Hairstreak was found at a new location.
