From: Josh <opihi...> Subject: [MassLep] Amherst SSS today, Leasts? yesterday |
Howdy folks,
Today in our yard near Amethyst Brook Conservation Area, a Silver-spotted S= kipper flew past me and perched in our side-yard meadow. FOY for me.
Yesterday I briefly watched two realllllllly tiny grass-skippers chasing ea= ch other through the grass near our vegetable garden. Size and color seemed= right for Least Skipper, but they chased each other into the vegetation an= d disappeared without landing anywhere that I could see them to confirm tha= t.
Cheers,
Josh
