Pipevine Swallowtail 8 Black Swallowtail 6 Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 6 Spicebush Swallowtail 6 Palamedes Swallowtail 4 unidentified dark swallowtails in flight 5 Gray Hairstreak 2 Little Metalmark 2 Variegated Fritillary 1 Pearl Crescent counted 50 and saw a couple dozen more American Lady 2 Common Buckeye 12 Red-spotted Purple 1 Georgia Satyr 3 Monarch 8 Silver-spotted Skipper 1 Hoary Edge 4 Southern Cloudywing 28 Confused Cloudywing 2 unidentified cloudywings 5 Horace's Duskywing 10 Zarucco Duskywing 9 unidentified duskywings 10 Clouded Skipper 3 Fiery Skipper 3 Whirlabout 1 Byssus Skipper 1
Most swallowtails, cloudywings and skippers on Woodland Sunflower, unidentified Coreopsis spp,, and Roadside Thistle (none of which were abundant). Almost all crescents, Little Metalmark, and Common Buckeye were on Black-eyed Susan.
