Spent part of the noon hour on the dead-end, unimproved gravel road
maintained by NC DOT. No structures or traffic on what was a
great butterflying area, but maintenance last year was to scrape all
vegetation down to ground level on the road and both sides. Only now,
almost a year later, has the vegetation grown back with nectaring plants
just some fleabane and one patch of passion flower.

1 Summer Azure
1 Eastern-tailed Blue
27 Pearl Crescent
1 Carolina Satyr
1 Silver-spotted Skipper
