Hairstreak numbers continue to be good this year. There is no way for me to get an accurate count of Red-banded Hairstreaks in the large mountain mint planting - large numbers in constant motion. Skipper numbers are starting to go up along with a few more skipper species showing up Monday and Tuesday, Ocola and a Tawny-edged Skipper.
