Butterflies seen today at Boyd Lee Park and Fork Swamp Creek. It was = another cloudy day but, this being August, there were still some = butterflies around. Pitt County, 2025-08-08. Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, 7 Silver-spotted Skipper, 3 Horace=E2=80=99s Duskywing, 1 Common/White Checkered-Skipper, 5 Zabulon Skipper, 1 male, first of year Fiery Skipper, 30 Ocola Skipper, 1, first of year Least Skipper, 1, first of year Cloudless Sulphur, 1, first of year Sleepy Orange, 30.
