Still 1000's of yellow rosinweed flowers (Sylphium spp.) along southern 60% of
211. We probably stopped and carefully inspected only about 25% of the
roadside shoulders along the total length of 212. All butterfly species were
seen on rosinweed, with most Metalmarks on Sneezeweed and most Palamedes
Swallowtails puddling on the damp road.

Hyptis sp., Sneezeweed, and Angled purple loosetrife were the dominant flowers
with patches of sparse Eryngium and swamp milkweed. Lots of nectar but
surprisingly few butterflies.
