The shorebirding was pretty good so revisited some of the same sites with Elisa and the kids on 9/7, with mostly cloudy skies, while mostly sunny on 9/6. Pickerelweed was a good nectar source at Lake Phelps shoreline, with the highlight of the two days being a Gulf Fritillary.
