--0000000000008627020642e29dc5 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7BIT Today I met Mark Shields to look for the well-named Furtive Forktail damselfly at Ev-Henwood Preserve in east-central Brunswick County, under sunny and relatively mid-warm conditions. Yes, we did see a few of these swamp-edge dwellers (without getting our feet wet or tumbling on/over the many cypress knees), and we encountered a few butterflies in the adjacent field and edge. I was less than 10 miles from the small Brunswick County Botanical Garden near Bolivia, so I drove there and added a few more species.
