Four days ago, November 12, following the 27 degree freeze here on the
hill, I was amazed to find 10 species of butterflies. It's been warm the
past 4 days with most of those same 10 species being seen frequently. Today
three additional species were nectaring on the Mum pacifica, one of each-

1 Great Purple Hairstreak
1 Gray Hairstreak
1 Pearl Crescent

We've had as many as 5 Cloudless Sulfur on the remaining Salvia these past
4 days
