Dennis and Wendy Allen Pipevine Swallowtail 4, male and female Easter Tiger Swallowtail 4 Spicebush Swallowtail 9, male and female Palamedes Swallowtail 26 unidentified dark swallowtails 6 Cloudless Sulphur 1 unidentified azure 1 Pearl Crescent 22 Southern Pearly-eye 1 Gemmed Satyr 2 Carolina Satyr 10 unidentified small satyrs 15 Little Wood Satyr 2 (FOY) Monarch 1 (FOY, faded and tattered) Silver-spotted Skipper 1 Southern Cloudywing 5 Northern Cloudywing 1 unidentified cloudywings 2 Juvenal's Duskywing 18 unidentified duskywings 8 Some swallowtails on Wild Azalea. New nectar included Tickweed (all yellow), Elderberry, and Phlox but no butterflies were nectaring on those. |
