--0000000000001c20e9064eaa7d06 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" This afternoon I walked through the Calloway Forest Preserve on NC 211 (Aberdeen Rd.). This property is owned by The Nature Conservancy and conserves about 2,800 acres of Longleaf Pine habitat. There is a 6.75 mile loop trail through the preserve, which I walked, but somehow my tracker said I only walked 4.64 miles. Non butterfly highlights were two seen Northern Bobwhites and three singing Bachman's Sparrows. The butterfly highlight was two Common Roadside-Skippers. Every time I see these I am shocked how small they are. My list is below. Good butterflying.
