Dave and Marty,
Glad you found the Tiger Swallowtail puddling parties! I was back at
Blue Wall Preserve last Thursday when it was 58 degrees, I forgot to report
to carolinaleps. Because it was so cold, I guess, the many Tiger
Swallowtails were flying instead of puddling, and I could not really tell
how many were Appalachians, but I'm pretty sure that each of the three
weeks I've been there, the percentage of Eastern Tigers has increased. With
just a single brood, we may not be seeing the Appalachians much longer?
