Zebra Swallowtail 1 Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 1 Palamedes Swallowtail 6 unidentified dark swallowtails 3 unidentified blue, likely an azure 1 Pearl Crescent 2 Southern Pearly-eye 5 Gemmed Satyr 9 Carolina Satyr 4 unidentified small satyrs about 30 Little Wood Satyr 45 Hoary Edge 1 Zabulon Skipper 3 all fresh males numbers of satyrs, especially Carolina-likes, were about half of those seen 5 days earlier along the same path very little conspicuous nectar and no butterflies nectaring |
