Pipevine Swallowtail 4 Zebra Swallowtail 1 Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 4 Spicebush Swallowtail 6 Palamedes Swallowtail 12 unidentified dark swallowtails 7 Cloudless Sulphur 1 Spring/Summer Azure 3 Pearl Crescent 10 Question Mark 1 very worn Red-spotted Purple 3 Southern Pearly-eye 4 unidentified pearly-eyes 2 Carolina Satyr 3 unidentified small satyrs 2 Little Wood Satyr 26 Monarch 1 Southern Cloudywing 8 Juvenal's Duskywing 2 both very worn Clouded Skipper 3
Very dusty roads and plants on the shoulders. Ditches and pocket swamps dry. Coreopsis (yellow tickweed), toadflax, Lyreleaf Sage, violets, white clover, violet fleabane, wild honeysuckle among common flowers. Also, first Red Thistle blooming. Pipevine and Spicebush Swallowtails on Coreopsis. Palamedes and Cloudywings on Red Thistle. Cloudywings and duskywings on sage and clover.
