Wow! Getting very close to NC! I will check tomorrow on iNat for any photos of potential Iryna's in this state. Not known previously north of central SC, but still not much known about the range other than "generally" from central SC southward and west at least to Louisiana, and thus mainly a Coastal Plain species -- as far as known, but Greenville County of course is upper Piedmont.
Harry Pavulaan notes that Iryna's -- in an article and photo in an upcoming Chrysalis issue -- is nearly white below and there is practically NO marginal chevron band or other dark markings near the HW margin. Eerily white below with also a reduction in black dots.
