for possible SC records. INat has not yet accepted the species, so I entere=
d Celastrina and South Carolina.&nbsp; I saw at least 2 records of males in=
April 2026 with open wings to see a medium blue, seemingly without the whi=
te veins of the Summer Azure. One was in Aiken County. I am not proficient =
in copy and paste on my iPhone, but it would behoove folks to check these o=
ut on iNat. &nbsp; One or both show the almost white underside ground color=
with few dots.&nbsp; I suspect these and a few others from the central to =
SW part of SC in April to be this species. &nbsp;<div><br></div><div>It is =
not known From NC and I have never seen top side male photos in April in th=
e state outside the mountains with these solid blue colors, and so in April=
in the southern part of NC all fresh ones should now be second brood Summe=
