We met this morning at 10:00 at the traditional Horn Pond Mountain parking
spot. It was about 70 degrees and mostly cloudy when we started, but by
about 11:00 the sky cleared and we saw:

3 Juniper Hairstreak
15 Duskywing (mostly Juvenal's, but possibly at least one Wild Indigo)
1 Lady (sp) flyby
1 Lady (sp) caterpillar on pussytoes
1 Tiger Swallowtail (sp) flyby
7 Azure (sp; probably mostly Spring, but possibly 1 or more Summer)
1 American Copper
1 Gray Hairstreak
2 Eastern Pine Elfin
2 Cabbage White
1 Sulphur (sp)

10 species, 35 individuals

There were 14 of us when we started, including David, a dad with his son
and daughter from NH; Steve Lewis, a club member from Connecticut; Jeanne,
Chris, Andy and Jordan, a family of four adults from Arlington; Andrew and
Lauren Griffith; Mike Gordon; Paul Seaman; Lisa Wolfe and me. We were
joined at the top of the hill by Judd and Amy, a couple from New Hampshire
who came to Woburn specifically looking for Juniper Hairstreaks.

Most of our party had never seen a Juniper Hairstreak, and the ones we saw
were very accommodating to being seen and photographed. It was very
satisfying to see the reactions to seeing these butterflies for the first
time.

Lisa and the other Arlington family had to leave early, but Lisa spotted
the Sulphur as they left. David had to leave shortly afterward. The rest
of us continued to look around until about 1:30, when the clouds started to
come back.
