On Friday we went to the Westborough end of the Crane Swamp Trail 12:30 to 2:00 pm. We saw: Cabbage White 6 Red Admiral 1 Spicebush Swallowtail 1 Pearl Crescent 8 Spring/Summer Azure 8 Clouded Sulphur 1 Zabulon Skipper 7 Also saw our first Ebony Jewelwing of the year! At Breakneck Hill in Southborough from 2:25 to 3 pm, where we managed to miss Peter: Little Wood Satyr 12 (we missed the previous Saturday, our target for the day) Cabbage White 4 Pearl Crescent 2 Silvery Blue 4 An additional treat was 3 Ospreys flying overhead.
