I joined Steve Moore and Barbara Volkle yesterday for a trip to Montague
Sand Plains. Conditions were good: warm (mid to high 80s, I believe),
mostly sunny and not much wind.

On our way, on Route 2, we saw two Tiger Swallowtails flying by, and when
we arrived, we saw:

20+ Duskywing (sp)
1 Indian Skipper
10 Cobweb Skipper
3 Eastern Tailed-blue
2 Dusted Skipper
4 American Copper
10 Clouded Sulphur
1 Cabbage White
1 Spicebush Swallowtail
1 Monarch
4 Pearl Crescent
1 Gray Hairstreak

The biggest concentration of duskywings was at the parking area, and I
tried to get photos of as many as I could; Steve identified one or more as
a Horace's Duskywing, as well as Sleepy, Dreamy and Wild Indigo Duskywing;
although almost all of the ones I was able to photograph appear to be
Juvenal's Duskywing.

I'll be posting to iNat later today, hoping to get firmer ID on a handful
of duskywing photos.
