Campbell Marine Complex adjacent to the Sampit River, City of Georgetown, SC. walked around drainage ponds and edges of park, about 1 mile. June 10. 2026. 10:30 - 11:30 am. Clear, 82F. Dennis and Wendy Allen. Georgetown Cabbage White 1 male Gray Hairstreak 2 White Checkered-Skipper 4 Fiery Skipper 1 Broad-winged Skipper 1 Large areas frequently mowed by some patches of white clover on which Fiery Sk. and Gray Hairstreaks were feeding. Checkered-Skippers were around but not on clover flowers. Broad-winged Sk. was on a small patch of Clasping Vervain. Cabbage White settled in high grass. |
