Two days ago (6/16/26) I was quite happy to see a Meadow Fritillary at April Hill in South Egremont, which landed quite close while I was transplanting dahlias. I saw at least three here yesterday (6/17/27) as well.

*6/14/26 - Appalachian Trail South of Mt Everett, Mt Washington, MA*
Red-Spotted Purple 7x Mourning Cloak 1x
*6/14/26 - April Hill, South Egremont, MA*
Summer Azure 1x
*6/16/26 - April Hill, South Egremont, MA*
Meadow Fritillary 1x Silver-Spotted Skipper 1x
----------------------------- & a list technically outside of MA but still quite close at Overmountain in Ancramdale, NY: this is an excellent and extensive conservation area that you should absolutely visit if you get the chance!
