On Friday (June 26th), around 11 am, I stopped by the NC Botanical Garden briefly, and despite overcast conditions and impending rain, butterfly activity was decent! Popular nectar plants were Narrowleaf Mountainmint, Purple Coneflower, Starry Rosinweed, and Wild Bergamot. Horace's Duskywings and Silver-spotted Skippers are starting to turn out in larger numbers as well.
