I went to HPM this morning, intending to spend an hour or so before it got
really hot. I arrived at 9:15, it was already in the 80s, sunny and mostly
calm. I didn't leave until noon; the wind

In addition to the hairstreaks, there were quite a few fresh American
Copper flying in the same area. Also, lots of wild indigo is blooming and
Wild Indigo Duskywing were spotted nectaring.

I saw:

2 Wild Indigo Duskywing
4 Edward's Hairstreak
2 Banded Hairstreak
5 Coral Hairstreak
1 Gray Hairstreak
23 American Copper
2 Northern Broken Dash
7 Eastern-tailed Blue
3 Sulphur (sp)
7 Cabbage White

10 species, 56 individuals
