I stopped looking at 7:05 and there were 2 still going at it. The npey's were a surprise. I saw 2 larger butterflies doing there spiralling in the oak trees. One was really beat up with about half its wings. They kept landing on the tree trunk about 20' up. At one point I saw 3. One on the tree and 2 others chasing each other. Later, 2 seemed to be nectaring at a tree wound. They were still present on the tree trunk when I left at 7pm.
