Dennis and Wendy Allen Eastern Tiger Swallowtail 1 Gray Hairstreak 1 Horace's Duskywing 1 White Checkered-Skipper 12 Clouded Skipper 4 Southern Skipperling 1 (FOY, in fact first in many years in this area) Fiery Skipper 13 Whirlabout 3 Delaware Skipper 3 Rare Skipper 1 Tiger Swallowtail, 2 Delaware Skippers and the 1 Rare Skipper were on one of the few still flowering Nuttal's Thistle. Gray Hairstreak was on Vervain. All others were on white clover, Dandelion, or manicured lawn grass around flower patches. |
