I drove through the town of Clinton, stopping at p= atches of nectar sources, which were mainly patches of Lantana and Verbena b= rasiliensis. Most of the butterflies, especially the grass skippers, were se= en on the Lantana at the entrance of Sampson County Community College and at= an elementary school in town, and at a vacant lot in town with a lot of the= tall Verbena. My list is below. Good butterflying. >=20 > Spicebush Swallowtail 1 > Sleepy Orange 4 > Cabbage White 3 > Variegated Fritillary 3 > Common Buckeye 4 > checkered-skipper sp. 2 > Horace's Duskywing 2 > Fiery Skipper 218 > Whirlabout 4 >=20 > Mike Turner > Fayetteville, NC
