That=E2=80=99s good news. The last time I visited there, before it became p= ublic, a permit was required from the Department of Agriculture think it was. I obtained a permit for a few years then stopped applying for one. I see that as of November 2025, a section of the Mountains to Sea Trail opened through the preserve, and it is the =E2=80=9Cfirst publicly accessible natural-surf= ace trail in Sampson County=E2=80=9D. Looking forward to visiting it soon.
