Butterfly Species Observed were: spicebush swallowtail 2 cabbage white 1 clouded sulphur 6 American copper 2 eastern tailed-blue 2 summer azure 1 great spangled fritillary 5 silver-bordered fritillary 1 pearl crescent 31 white admiral 1 viceroy 1 Appalachian brown 2 little wood-satyr 2 common wood-nymph 6 silver-spotted skipper 1 northern broken-dash 1 dun skipper 2 Some of the bird highlights included: bobolink, eastern kingbird, savannah sparrow, scarlet tananger, chimney swift, kestrel, black vulture, and common yellow-throat.
