Subject: from the north central South Carolina coast

Campbell Marine Complex, City of Georgetown, SC on the Sampit River. Walked
about 0.5 miles around mowed lawns and edges of stormwater wetlands.

No large flowers, no large butterflies. Large patches of white clover and
Frogfruit (Phyla nodiflora) attracted all species. Some Delaware and the
Broad-winged Skippers were on the few remaining Nuttal Thistle flowers. Not
having been mowed this past week, there was an abundance of small flowers and
bees.
