We actually focused efforts on butterflies during a short trip to Nags Head Woods on 8/13 and to the lantana patches at Sarah Owens Welcome Center on 8/14, the latter site being the most productive, where the highlight for me was the first Tawny-edged Skipper I'd seen in several years.
