There was a considerable uptick in numbers and diversity from my last survey on Jul 30; the highlight yesterday was a Great Purple Hairstreak after not seeing one on that route since September 2025. There was some nectaring observed, almost all at sneezeweed and *Eupatorium rotundifolium*, both of which were flowering in abundance.
