Hi All,

We had two outings in WNC this weekend. Day one: Cataloochee with me, Gail =
Lankford, Guy McGrane, Salmon Abdulali, and Ben Gillum. Day two: Max Patch =
and Harmon Den with me, Gale, and Salmon. Both days were partly cloudy, but=
we still had two fun trips. Here=E2=80=99s the scoop:

8/29/26 (28 species), Cataloochee Valley, Haywood County
(Bonuses: Cooper=E2=80=99s Hawk and Monarch at the Ingles where we met up. =
And in Cataloochee: Female Pondhawk, Common Whitetail, Kingfisher, Phebe, a=
nd quite a few Hummingbirds spotted. Strangely, no elk showed up.)
