--000000000000726c0c065a980324 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Good afternoon butterfliers, This morning, from about 10-12, I ran my Carolinas Butterfly Monitoring Program survey at Schenck Forest and picked up lots of incidentals from the Bandwidth flower garden and NC State Fair parking field. It was perfectly clear and quite toasty (88-94 F). Many butterflies were nectaring on Butterfly Bush, Verbena, Lespedeza, Boneset, Pickerelweed, and Kummerowia (Korean Bushclover). I had a total of 18 species and 200 individuals, which is easily the best day I've had at this site all year.
