--000000000000e994da065ab0151f Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" I parked underneath the bridge on NC 903 Lisbon Bridge Rd. at the Black River to walk the riverbanks looking for a Hackberry and/or Tawny Emperor, neither of which has been seen in Sampson County. I figured I could find a hackberry tree or two, but nope. The blackwater Black River isn't where you would normally find a Hackberry, but I thought I would try. I ended up walking along the roadside of Lisbon Bridge Rd. and W Magnolia-Lisbon Rd. many times, checking out the blooming mountain-mint, *Eupatorium*., and *Richardia* for butterflies. Considering the limited habitat in a small area, I did pretty good with diversity. No county records, but I did see a White-M Hairstreak, my FOY, that turns the map from red to green. A consolation prize was a dragonfly patrolling the area under a powerline paralleling W Magnolia-Lisbon Rd. a Southeastern Spinyleg, which is a county record. My list is below. Good butterflying.
