--000000000000c1327d065b64afe0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Good evening butterfliers, Today, I ran my Carolinas Butterfly Monitoring Program route at Schenck Forest for probably the last time this year, as I'll be moving to the coast this weekend for a job.* If anyone is interested in picking this Raleigh-based route up for the remainder of the season or even for next spring, please reach out!* Conditions were a lot less dry thanks to the rains yesterday and the night before. As usual, I picked up incidentals at the Bandwidth Garden and NC State Fair parking field. In addition to good butterfly numbers, I got some nice odes at the retention ponds, notably a pair of Twelve-spotted Skimmers <https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/400003530>. Common nectar sources were Butterfly Bush, Verbena, Lespedeza, Kummerowia (Korean bushclover), Crownbeard, and Pickerelweed.
