Estero Llano Grande State Park Butterfly Walk, Friday Feb 23, 2018

Another hot and sunny day for our butterfly walk. It was a bit windy
and there were not a whole lot of butterflies but we had lots of eyes
looking and found 33 species for the day.

Many saw a first-of-year Celia's Roadside-Skipper. Also present were a
few Southern Broken-Dash. Most butterflies were attracted to our Blue
Mistflowers in full bloom.

(Yesterday on the plant walk, we saw Western Pygmy Blue and Dainty
Sulphur on Winged Sea Purslane, the host plant for the Pygmy Blue.)

Thanks to Mike Rickard and Ginny Musgrave for their expert help.
