Subject: [MassLep] Butterflies Martin Burns WMA Newbury July 4
I went for a walk at Martin Burns WMA today from about 9:45- 12:15. Sunny and 82-84 degrees with calm winds. This was a scouting trip for our Club walk scheduled for this Sunday July 7th from 9:30-12:00.
As many people have reported recently, butterflies were not as plentiful as I hoped despite many nectar sources including Milkweed, Dogbane, Yarrow, several types of clovers to name a few. The butterflies I did see were all fresh.
