Subject: [SoWestLep] Leda Ministreak irruption - Patagonia, AZ

Back on 7/6, I visited the Paton Center for Hummingbirds in Patagonia
and had no Leda Ministreaks, and only a couple at nearby
Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve. It was a different story today
(7/10) at the Paton Center: I estimate 200-300 were present in the
butterfly garden. I only saw one taking nectar, most were hiding low
in the plants. None were at the water. Flushing them in certain areas
would send dozens flying.

Later, I visited the Proctor Road area of Madera Canyon in the late
afternoon and numbers were again high there.
