All,

I did some scouting for the CBS Field Trips. yesterday.

Santee Coastal Reserve 11:20-12:15
Drove 0.7 mi in on the entrance road. The long-leaf pine woods had a lot
of flowers including Blazing Star. Seen while driving:
Palamedes Swallowtail 1
Cloudless Sulfur:50
Little Yellow 40
WHITE M HAIRSTREAK 1
Common Buckeye 4
Gulf Fritillaries 6
Long-tailed Skipper 5
Ocola Skipper 1

Farewell Corners (FS 161) THEY WERE MOWING THE ROAD EDGES SO THER IS NO
BUTTERFLY HABITAT. So we will meet at FS 161 and drive 1 rd back towards
Charleston (Port Rd) Unfortiunately this is not on the regular road maps.

Dennis
